Our team is a bit like a box of assorted bricks: we come in all shapes and sizes, and we’re scattered across the floor in a way that’s slightly hazardous to anyone walking by in the dark. From the rainy shores of Nanaimo, British Columbia, to the bustling streets of Michigan, Sweden, France, Germany and beyond, we’ve managed to populate several time zones just to ensure that someone, somewhere, is always awake and obsessing over brick physics and game mechanics. We’re a truly global operation, proving that you don’t need to be in the same room to build something amazing, you just need a solid internet connection and a shared, slightly concerning passion for epic quests.

Richard Hoedl is the creative force behind Epic Brick Adventures. Based in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, and as the owner of Tinker Troll Games, he blends playful imagination with approachable design to create family-friendly adventures in the Brick Realms. He’s also driven by a constant itch to invent what’s next, developing new tabletop RPGs and board games that spark creativity, collaboration, and big laughs around the table.
At Tinker Troll Games, we’ve made it our solemn mission to prove that "playing with toys" is actually a sophisticated form of community building... and we’re sticking to that story. We craft games designed to bridge the generation gap, bringing together everyone from the "I remember when these were just wooden blocks" crowd to the "I can build a functional starship in twenty minutes" youngsters.
Our goal is to foster a community where the only thing more infectious than the laughter is the occasional accidental lesson in logic or engineering. We believe that life is far too short for boring afternoons, so we create experiences that are occasionally educational (don't worry, it's painless), consistently heartwarming, and perpetually dedicated to making the world a bit more fun.
While we certainly have a "brick" in our foundation, our imagination keeps moving forward. As we venture into new board games and TTRPGs, we’re proving that whether we’re using plastic studs, cardboard, or just a handful of dice, the goal remains the same: creating one brick-built catastrophe or tabletop triumph at a time. After all, if you aren't accidentally learning something while narrowly escaping a dragon, are you even really adventuring?
